 La Casa
La Casa offers a morning toddler class for two to three year olds. This warm, caring, safe, educational environment is modeled on Montessori principles. The program runs from 8:30 am to noon and follows the same calendar schedule as the VIMS. In order to meet the needs of the child at this age, the class size is limited to no more than ten children. Currently we have two toddler classrooms. The indoor and outdoor environments are especially prepared for toddlers. Stimulating and exciting activities meet the developmental process of the child and encourage exploration and curiosity. Attending the Toddler program offers a wonderful preparation for the transition into our VIMS Primary class. A special daily routine is emphasized, which children need at this age to establish a sense of security. A limited number of spaces are available up until 4:00 pm for toddlers who need care in the afternoon.
