Planning is well underway for our 38th Annual Las Vegas Night.  Committees are in place, donations are being solicited, chips are being counted, and dealer practices will be starting soon.  All to ensure that we continue our tradition of holding the best party on the island!

We promise a glamorous evening full of socializing, gaming, auctions, food and dancing.  This is our school’s largest fundraiser, with proceeds going to expand our financial aid and scholarship programs.

Attire is Island Elegant.  Sequins, coat and ties are the norm.

Casino-style Gaming
Gaming opportunities will include blackjack, roulette, craps, Texas Hold ‘Em Poker and bingo.  Professional off-island “croupiers” supervise our loyal team of trained volunteer dealers. 

Note:  Winnings are not redeemable for cash but may be used for bidding in the auctions.
 
Live & Silent Auction
Every year, hundreds of local and off-island businesses donate items for the Live and Silent Auctions.  They may include travel packages, exotic furniture, fine jewelry, art work and restaurant certificates.

$10,000 Cash Raffle
One of the most popular features of Las Vegas Night is the Cash Raffle.  The first place prize is $10,000 in cash!  The prize drawing is held towards the end of the event, and is the culmination of our evening of fun.  (Persons do not need to be present to win.)

Raffle tickets are $5.00 each, and currently available for advance purchase in the Front Office.  More locations will be announced in the future.

Montessori Class Artwork
Each class at VI Montessori School is creating an original piece of art to be sold in the Live Auction, with the proceeds benefiting each classroom.  Every year the quality of these pieces is exceptional, resulting in very competitive bidding among the students’ parents. 

Live Music
Ah We Band will be returning this year to provide exciting live music for your dancing enjoyment.

Admission
Admission tickets are $65.00 in advance, and $75.00 at the door.  Admission will include complementary hors d’oeuvres and one free cocktail.  Advance sale tickets will be sold in the school’s Front Office and at various locations as the date approaches.

The Wyndham is offering special room rates for those attending Las Vegas Night.  As the event draws nearer, check here for specific reservation information.

Volunteering
Without a doubt, the success of every Las Vegas Night is made possible by the thousands of hours contributed by a solid core of VIMS parents and devoted individuals from our community!  Our school appreciates everyone who gives to this event by donating of their time and talent.  Volunteers are the reason why our Las Vegas Night has continued to be a success for so many years!!!

Blackjack Dealer Practice
Interested in becoming a blackjack dealer?  We will train you!  Join our team of loyal dealers.  Make new friends and have fun!

Training will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning in early October from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Robert’s American Grille, Elysian Beach Resort.  Refreshments will be served.  The starting date will be announced in the Daily News and Island Trader, or call the school’s Front Office at 775-6360.
